Review:” Movie making with a difference”, this is what seems to be got into the mind of the debutant director Aamir Khan. The actor turned director has also succeeded in all his previous projects as an actor, who thinks different and acts differently in every of his movies like Fanna, Rang De Basanti etc. He gives himself a complete makeover every time to get into the character, specially his hairstyles. His movies are not only entertaining but also inspiring and always come out with a message.
His recent movie ‘Taare Zameen Par’ is about Ishan Awasthi, an 8yr old dyslexic boy played by child artist Darsheel Saffry. He is born in a typical urban family which consists of his parents and his elder brother. The only motive of the family is to make him intelligent like his elder brother who is the topper in his school. But, on the other side Ishan has failed his third class already once. Nobody cares to understand the feeling of this small boy, whose world is beyond letters and numbers. He loves to dream and his world is full of colors. He loves painting and is an awesome painter. He is being forced into studying by his family.
Witnessing no progress in his studies and on not showing any further improvement he is sent to a boarding school by his family. The child’s emotions, his fear of staying alone, his refusal, his rigidity and the mother and the child relationship has been captured very well. Everybody is left moist eyed in these particular scenes.
At the boarding school once very active Ishan Awasthi turns dormant, all alone in this new world. Not even his mother’s touch or his brother’s company. Then finds a friend Tanay Chaturvedi, who tries to understand him and cares for him. Ram Prakash Nikhumb, an art teacher for special children whose role is played by Aamir Khan is being appointed as the art teacher for them. He figures out the problem in Ishan and then occurred a miracle. He was able to prove that ‘every child is special’.
He has tried to make it a point that every child born in this
Competitive world does not have to be intelligent to be recognized.
There are many children who are talented in an endless number of ways. Their dreams, their emotions, when cared for can bring about a vast difference in their way to perceive things.

Darsheel Saffry clean sweeps the crowd this time. He grabs most of the attention of the audience. A child’s innocence, his fear when he is away from his mother has been portrayed very well by him. Coming to Aamir Khan, brilliant and a perfectionist as usual.
Tisca Chopra, all in all a true mother in the movie. She was at her best this time. She can expect a bag of offers for her performance.

The music of the movie also created a lot of magic. Right from the title track to ‘tujhe sabh hai pata meri maa’, every song has been composed and even sung very well sung by the famous trio. The song on his feelings when he is all alone in the boarding school has managed to bring tears.
Concluding it, Aamir Khan Can now proudly say that,
‘Message delivered-effectively and efficiently. Be the change you want to see in the society.’ A tough job for the audience to judge among, Aamir Khan-the director or Aamir Khan-the actor or Aamir khan-a nice human being.
KEEP THINKING!!!!
