A place where buses are over-flooded with people, where every "gulli"(lane) should have a pani-puri bandi or a "Chinese fast food centre" (with a dragon painting on it), where engineering colleges are more than students studying, where "vasavi", "sreenidhi", "narayana" and"chaitanya" are names of colleges and not people, where chinna, ismail bhai, david and harmeet paaji are neighbours, where traffic signals are the favourite spot for conversations, where cricket matches are best enjoyed on streets in a showroom t.v, where loud speakers have no sound limit, where temples and mosques share the same compound wall, where people are always there to give free advices, where "kyun" is replaced by "kaiko" and "ladke-ladkiyaan" become "potte-pottiyan", where "ishtyle se jeena yaaro" is the only mantra, where hi-tech city and old city are in the same place.
Welcome to Hyderabad people... oh man!!!!!!!! ask me to talk about "Hyderabad", and i can like go on forever...And i take extreme pride in saying that "i'm a true-blue Hyderabadi"... :P Staying in Hyderabad for twenty years, all i can
say is this place rocks...Its all about people, unity, culture, food and many such elements which make it a complete delight to live
here...The auto-drivers/bhaiyas and their never-ending stories, kids playing cricket in the lanes, kite-flying
sessions and the loud music systems(all of them playing smack that or temperature), Ganesh Chaturthi and the various youth associations(posters with their

pictures on it...lol!!!) Shaadi-baraat and the "teen maar",
"Chiru anna's" movies and stampedes at movie theatres, late night ice-cream on necklace road, "Gokul chat", "King and cardinal's burgers" and "Dadu's kulfi", January industrial exhibition as a family event, the never ending Banjara hills, Jubilee Hills, Mahindra hills, Red hills etc.form the backbone of Hyderabad...

Technologically we might not be topping the lists, but we are at-least in the attempt of making that every effort to take the lead...In the recent years, specially after the development of the I.T industry and after the "Afro-Asian games", this place has demanded attention and has stood up to its best in providing everything it can to represent India on the global scenario...Hyderabad's HI-tech city, or the Cyberabad, the various multi-national foundations, Sports complexes, Hotels, Historical monuments and their maintenance has been able to attract tourists and has successfully established itself as one of the most loved places in the world...

But, last two months have been like the worst times for this place...The telangana issue has sort off disrupted the peace and harmony of the state...Destruction of property and life have created a chaotic environment all over, and looks like it has an indefinite end to it...The need for a seperate statehood at this point of time seems completely unnecessary to me(no offence indicated though)...The law and order situation has been worsening, which has given media all the liberty to start off their "race for popularity"...Students involvement into this has been the major source of concern, and the consequences can be very unfavourable...Their demand for statehood forty years down the lane would not have created such a fuss, but may be now, its just not the RIGHT TIME for something like this to happen...We are a very happy and a content state...Hyderabad would be torn between the two states and the whole essence of the people, unity etc, would sound very fake...We could have handled the issue, but not anymore...It now completely depends on the central government's decision...The ball is in their court...I really hope they don't divide "US"...My wait for a positive verdict continues...
